Interview Project

Description

For this project, I would like to interview all the managers at the hotel that I work at.

I would like to ask them about their experience working in the hotel industry and what type of advice they would give to younger generations

Challenges

Setting up the place and the time was a little bit challenging since we have very different schedules, also this is the very first time I interview someone, so it was for sure a first-time experience.

As for editing the video, I am familiar on how Adobe Premiere works, but trying to match the levels of the audio was a challenge since I am not very familiar with Audition.

Solutions

In a different project, Bruce showed me how to make adjustments to the audio without having to go into Audition, so I applied this technique to the audio of the interview and it came out better than I thought it would. I am very happy because I had always had issues with my audio on videos.

LIA Project

Description

The project is a short suspense-comedy film that follows Nick, who finishes class late with Jason. After leaving his keys behind, Nick heads out alone and begins to feel like he's being followed. As tension builds, he hides in fear—only to be confronted by Daniel, who simply returns his forgotten keys.

Just when things seem to calm down, a twist reveals that Jason had been secretly following Nick the entire time, orchestrating the whole creepy encounter. The film blends suspense with humor, ending on a dramatic and playful note.

My Role

I was one of the actors in the project, but I was also really involved in shaping the story. I made sure to stay engaged, listen to everyone’s ideas, and be part of the creative process from start to finish. It really felt like a team effort, and I’m proud of how we all brought it together..

I made sure to stay involved, listened to my team’s ideas, and worked closely with them to bring the narrative to life.

Challenges

This short definitely had its challenges, some of which actually made it funnier in the end. At one point, I accidentally left the audio device unplugged, so the sound quality was pretty rough. Then, when we finally got it working, we forgot to check the audio levels, and one scene ended up way louder than expected. Strangely enough, those mistakes added to the comedy and gave the film an extra layer of chaotic charm.

We just wanted to make people laugh. The whole point was to let the audience enjoy the weird horror and the silly, unexpected moments. And honestly, I think we pulled it off. People were smiling, and it felt like we really made their day better.
